Digital Innovator Speaker Series
Professor and author of Limitless Mind, Boaler shared how we have seen an explosion of scientific evidence showing that there is a different way to learn, lead, and live. When people take a limitless approach to learning, different pathways open up. Mindset messages are important but they do not take root unless they are accompanied by a different approach to content and life. In this session, we considered what this different approach is. We thought together about ways to learn, lead, and live without barriers.

LearnShift.org is a teacher-created coaching and support network dedicated to guiding the evolution of thought and practice
​teachers experience as they consider the use of digital media and tools to support student-centered learning.

In the midst of this unprecedented time, education has reached a tipping point that requires every educator to be more digitally savvy than ever before. This moment in history will change the future of teaching.  A new normal for how teachers, students and parents communicate will follow; one infused with digital tools and media to support learning. ​ Successfully shifting to this new format will require more than knowing how to use any technology tool.  It requires reimagining lesson designs to leverage the unique affordances of each tool or media to keep students engaged in learning while simultaneously ensuring that every student has opportunity to master content and demonstrate understanding.  To assist with exploration into how to approach this challenge, our innovative teacher-volunteers have chosen to share their expertise and professional services through philanthropy.  Learn more on our About page.
